Björkliden has Sweden’s third highest drop, lots of natural snow and the most beautiful view in Scandinavia. So it’s no wonder Björkliden has become such a popular ski resort. There are several different lifts and slopes to choose from that suit everyone, from beginners to professional skiers.
Björkliden is a resort located between Riksgränsen and Abisko, along the E10 road to Northern Norway. From here you view the famous “Lapland gate” (Lapporten) along with gorgeous nature, and here you find great trails for hiking and trekking.
The lifts are running empty to 50-99% early February. You can ski ski ski ;-)) ☃. The snow can vary a lot, from hard packed snow on the piste, off-piste anything from Japanese powder to densely packed crust by the wind. We had many runs on and off-piste surfing the powder.
