David Randolph Scott (born June 6, 1932) is an American retired test pilot and NASA astronaut who was the seventh person to walk on the Moon.

David Scott was born in 1932 in San Antonio, Texas, and became a colonel in the USAF and a test pilot. He flew on Gemini 8, Apollo 9 and Apollo 15 missions, and was the first person to drive a lunar rover on the moon.
