Musashino University (武蔵野大学, Musashino Daigaku) is a private university with the main campus in Ariake, Kōtō, Tokyo, and a second campus in Nishitōkyō. Musashino University was founded based on the ideals associated with the Hongwanji Jodo Shinshu School of Buddhism.
Based in Ariake Koto, Tokyo, Musashino University was founded by Dr. Junjiro Takakusu, a prominent Buddhist scholar. To this day, the university is uniquely associated with the Hongwanji Jodo Shinshu School of Buddhism.

Musashino University is a university located in Ariake Koto, Tokyo. There is also a campus in the suburb of Nishitokyo. It was founded by Dr Junjiro Takakusu an internationally renowned Buddhist scholar. He was a firm advocate of women's education and their involvement in society.
