Jessica Drew, also known as Spider-Woman, has a unique backstory compared to other Spider-Woman characters in the Marvel universe. As a child, Jessica was bitten by a spider and her father, in an attempt to save her, injected her with a spider-serum.
Jessica Drew was placed into a hibernation chamber for years before emerging decades later still a teenager. Physically enhanced by a special spider-derived serum, Drew chose to take her life into her own hands and became known as Spider-Woman.
Spider-Woman. Jessica Drew was born to Jonathan Drew and Miriam Drew. Experimented on by Hydra, she was sent to kill Nick Fury.
