Blue Exorcist ( Japanese: 青の 祓魔師 （ エクソシスト ）, Hepburn: Ao no Ekusoshisuto) is a Japanese dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Kazue Kato. The story revolves around Rin Okumura, a teenager who discovers that he and his twin brother Yukio are the sons of Satan, born from a human woman, and he is the inheritor of Satan's powers.
Ao no Exorcist follows Rin Okumura who appears to be an ordinary, somewhat troublesome teenager—that is until one day he is ambushed by demons. His world turns upside down when he discovers that he is in fact the very son of Satan and that his demon father wishes for him to return so they can conquer Assiah together.
Blue Exorcist (青の祓魔師 (エクソシスト) Ao no Ekusoshisuto) is a manga written and illustrated by Kazue Katō. The manga has been serialized in the Jump SQ magazine by Shueisha since April 2009, with individual chapters collected into 26 tankōbon volumes as of December 4, 2020.
