Crown Prince Uigyeong (Korean: 의경세자; Hanja: 懿敬世子; 12 October 1438 – 29 September 1457), personal name Yi Jang (이장; 李暲) and formerly called as Prince Dowon (도원군; 桃源君) was a Crown prince of the Korean Joseon Dynasty.
Crown Prince Uigyeong, personal name Yi Jang and formerly called as Prince Dowon was a Crown prince of the Korean Joseon Dynasty. He was the oldest son of Sejo of Joseon and Queen Jeonghui, also the older brother of Yejong of Joseon.
Following the death of King Sejong in 1450, Suyang's ill brother, Yi Hyang (later known as King Munjong), took the throne but died two years later, and the crown passed to his 12-year-old son, Yi Hong-wi (posthumously named King Danjong).

September: When Sejo became king, his eldest son Yi Sung, then Prince Dowon, was made the Crown Prince. He was said to have seen the ghost of Danjong’s dead mother Queen Hyeondeok and fell sick. He passed away at the age of 20 and given the posthumous title Crown Prince Uigyeong.
