Japar Babay Dimaampao (born December 27, 1963, in Marawi) [1] is an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. He is the second Muslim to be appointed to the High Court after Justice Abdulwahid Bidin. [2]
Justice Dimaampao was the Chairperson of the CA’s Committee on Rules/Raffle, Committee on Inventory and Audit of Caseload of Retiring Justices, and Committee on Travel. He served as Vice Chairperson of the Supreme Court’s Sub-Committee on Special Commercial Courts.
