Joe Thomas Barrett IV (born January 23, 1995) is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the assistant quarterbacks coach for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes , earning third-team All-American honors in 2014.
J.T. Barrett is a former Ohio State quarterback who joined the Lions as an offensive assistant in 2022 and became the assistant quarterbacks coach in 2023. He helped QB Jared Goff earn a Pro Bowl berth in 2022 and also played in the CFL and the NFL.
