James Lee Kaat ( / kɒt /; born November 7, 1938) is an American former professional baseball player and television sports commentator.
Jim Kaat is a left-handed pitcher who played 21 seasons in the major leagues from 1960 to 1982. He won 16 Gold Gloves, pitched in three All-Star games and one World Series, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022.
