Olga Antonova was born in Volgograd, Russia, and grew up in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). In 1980 she received a master’s degree in fine art from what is now the I. Repin St. Petersburg State Academy Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.

Olga Antonova (b. 1956, Volgograd, Russia) completed her classical art training at the Ilya Repin Institute of Painting in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1980. She subsequently immigrated to the United States and split her residency between Boston, MA, and France for over 15 years.
