From my research Taboola didn't seem to pose a security risk, but I am just getting second opinions. I've ran Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner, Windows Defender, and CCleaner, all of which claim I have no adware/malware. I've read mixed reviews as to whether Taboola is adware and or malware. I'm slightly concerned and would like to know your opinions.

Feb 6, 2018 · To get rid of taboola ads you have to get rid of Focused Inbox if you have it. Go to settings. Display settings. Focused Inbox. where it says “when email is received:” tick Dont sort messages”. Then click ok. let me know if it works for you, it just worked for me. I just hope it stays that way.

Mar 5, 2017 · When I open Edge, I can no longer see the My Feed news scrolling because it is partially blocked by ads starting with the address api.taboola/com. I've bought HitmanPro and Spyhunter 4 and neither can get rid of it. I can't find any way to reset Edge the way I used to Internet Explorer when malware got into the browser.

It shows up in Internet explorer and also in Edge, When I open Outlook to view my email, the very first Message starts out as a blank box which populates into an email from Taboola and sponsored companies. it has no check box which would allow me to click and add to spam.
May 16, 2017 · Let me expand this question. Since Today I am seeing in my Outlook.com email Taboola Ads. It is strange because it happened AFTER Microsoft "suggested" me to update my password becasue someone tried to hack my account. I udpated my password, thur the real hotmail page, and I started to see these damn taboola ads.

Reset all your web browsers to their original factors state. In Microsoft Edge - Click Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Edge.
