Dec 20, 2022 · Rod type does NOT making fishing easier unless you actually put tackle on it. The Fiberglass rod is a good early upgrade because being able to add Bait greatly increases how many fish you catch. Unless you're about to attempt some really tough fish, don't waste early game money on an iridium rod. Yes.
