Also according to GPT, you cannot become liable for Activision's costs, and you may withdraw your case without penalty - though you won't recoup the $250. That's all I know for now.
Nov 11, 2022 · Not long after submitting my appeal to Activision I got back a generic autoreply email starting that they weren't going to overturn the ban. I've evidence to show that I wasn't cheating and will happily let them run checks on my PC to support that, but I've no way to get that information over to them.

Sep 12, 2023 · All of it is 100% automated, if something like a cheat loader is traced, you’ll be permanently banned. Activision has a giant database of permissible and impermissible software. RGB software will never get you banned, mouse software such as Razer synapse will never get you banned. Only cheat software detections will.

This text is downloaded regardless of your account state. The dynamic components on the page is the games lists, case number under appeal and temporary ban duration.

I bought it and tried to get connected and it says my account is permanently banned specifically for modern warfare 2 online. I contacted Activision and they won't release the ban with no way of contacting them afterwards. The guy at GameStop told me to create a new Activision account and try again. And again with a new account, permanently banned.
