Nancy Swain Overton (born Anne Swain; February 6, 1926 – April 5, 2009) was an American pop singer and songwriter. Biography. Overton first formed a singing group with her sister Jean Swain and two college friends, Bix Brent and Pauli Skindlov in 1946.

ABOUT. BOB. I am a graduate of the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland California, class of 1965, with a Fine Arts degree in painting. I designed stitchery kits for many years while I was the New Product Director at Sunset Designs. I oversaw design development of needlepoint, lace and quilting products for Peking Handicraft.
Nancy Overton (February 6, 1926 – April 5, 2009) joined the group for live performances in 1957 after Janet Ertel, who was more than a decade older than the other members of the group, decided to retire from touring, although she continued to perform on recorded material.

SOLD. TORN AND CUT PAPER COLLAGE. After placing the drawing of my subject onto my watercolor block, I select my palette from the colored papers in my storage baskets and folders, mostly Lokta paper from Nepal and rice paper from Japan. I tear out and glue the largest shapes to the background first.
