May 16, 2021 · Think of San Beda as a sieve, It only filters smart students. While there are certainly Really Good Teachers from San Beda, basing from my short stint there and from the stories of my friends. It felt like they were just like Glorified Proctors that didn't really "teach" students.
Armed with the vision of offering the same Benedictine quality legal education in the southern Metro Manila, Rev. Fr. Anscar J. Chupungco, OSB, suggested that the San Beda College Alabang campus would the best place to offer an equally superior legal education.
Why did I choose this school: The reasons why I chose San Beda College: Because my father graduated at that school, the quality of education and the competition in San Beda was really great, and it is one of the most top Law schools in the Philippines.
Bachelor of Laws has eight major subjects in its curriculum: Political, Criminal, Civil, International, Labor, Tax, Commercial, and Remedial laws. All of these are required by the Supreme Court of the Philippines along with other subjects such as Legal Ethics, Legal Research, and Labor Standards.
