To be considered for the Advanced Placement program at Loretto Abbey Catholic Secondary School, students must first apply to Loretto Abbey and be accepted into the school. Upon acceptance, students will receive further information alongside their registration packages in order to select the pre-AP courses that interest them.
In 1986, Loretto Abbey High School became a member of the Metropolitan Separate School Board (now Toronto Catholic District School Board) family of schools. On March 9, 2011, the school was sold to the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
