U of I's Kibbie Dome is too small for the rating. The school has a five year lease for the venue. Once the school is certified for 1-A status, it must only average 20,000 per game over the season and that would allow it to use the 16,000-seat Kibbie Dome for all games except those that draw the most fans.

Commonly known as the Kibbie Dome, the structure is actually a barrel vault. The multipurpose, indoor athletic stadium seats 16,000 for football games and fewer for other activities.

Reserved seating at the Kibbie Dome can be found on both sides of the stadium. Sections 1-9 are on the side of Idaho's bench, while more reserved seating can be found in sections 14-22 on the side of the visitor team's bench. For the best views we recommend sections 5-7 and 16-18 as they are closest to midfield.
