A man is hit on the head multiple times with a crowbar. Some blood is seen shooting from the wound when he gets hit. Clare's hand gets broken by Andi. Bones crunching can be heard and she is whimpering. A man's hand is stabbed. A woman is abused and locked in a house. A couple fights one another.
I found the 2017 film Berlin Syndrome to be incredibly disturbing; one of the most hard-to-watch films that I've seen. I think that one reason why it's so disturbing for me personally is maybe the combination of "warm" elements mixed together with the horrific elements of the film.
