Pidol's Wonderland. Rodolfo Vera Quizon Sr. GCGH (July 25, 1928 – July 10, 2012), known professionally as Dolphy, was a Filipino comedian and actor. He is widely regarded as the country's "King of Comedy" for his comedic talent embodied by his long roster of works on stage, radio, television and movies.

Dolphy started his career at age 16 as a chorus boy. He adopted the name Golay and often performed with big stars of the era that include Fernando Poe, Sr., Bayani Casimiro, and the comedy duo Pugo and Tugo.
